Since the start of the coronavirus the Pie 'n' Mash crew closed the doors on our Autonomous Cafe, but then we created the Pie 'n' Mash Mutual Aid Centre. Working with The Field, another social centre in South-East London, we are currently providing food and other essentials to hundreds of people who are struggling during this time, sourcing products from local shops, excess stock distributors, and every squatters' favourite place, the bins*.  (*every person we assist in made aware of this and is able to choose whether or not to accept food from different sources).

Pie'N'Mash is now at The Field social centre on Thursdays. It's much nicer to be indoors where people can share food and words, and contnue the relationships we've built up over all these years.

Preparing and cooking from about 12, we are then open to everyone from 2pm until 4pm every Thursday afternoon.
