Postponed for 1st February: General Equivalent: Mapping the Far Right

Short url:

Today’s fascism is a big-tent movement involving Nazis, tech capitalists, muscle-supplement addicts, ‘scientific racists’, women-hating nerds and people whose job it is to say that they aren’t Nazis. A comprehensive anti-fascism needs to understand the different functions of all of these sub-groups as well as to know where the $$$s are coming from and why all of the tent pegs turn out on closer inspection to be liberal journalists.
Come help us begin to map the connections between our opponents. We can’t afford to allow fascists to gain access to our spaces simply by virtue of the fact that they’ve learned to say A when they mean B. By exposing the organisational links between different groups and tendencies, we make it harder for them to encroach in our institutions, our culture and our communities.
All welcome, comradely atmosphere, no ‘expertise’ required
