It’s been a long year….
We invite you to join XR Southwark Rebels for our end of year Social/Fundraiser to celebrate all that we have achieved in 2019.
From the April Rebellion through Summer Uprisings and back onto the wet and dark streets of the Autumn International Rebellion, Southwark Rebels have been coming together to share our hopes and fears and stand up to make our voices heard.
Since the Autumn Rebellion we are seeing the group growing every week with new members and renewed energy, working groups are evolving and exciting projects being planned. We are reaching out across our community and sowing the seeds of fruitful new collaborations.
Please join us in celebration of a year that has seen seismic shifts in society, as well as in ourselves and our communities. There is hope – this is working – and we have big plans for the future. Your support will also help provide us with much-needed funds as we head into 2020.

We are very lucky to have TERRA VIVA headlining – a five piece band from South East London delivering Italian gypsy balkan beats, mixing their unique sound with a London twist. Social and political topics touched by their lyrics are delivered by their music aimed to make you dance with infectious grooves that span from gypsy to Italian folk, from jazz to rock and world music.

Edwin is the keyboardist in Foals, a Southwark resident and a relatively new but enthusiastic member of XR! He’ll be DJing a mix of disco & house to close the night.
