March Dalston Solidarity Cafe
The Dalston Solidarity Cafe is a space to connect a diversity of collectives, realities and individuals who by sharing their knowledge and experience will be able to offer a range of mutualistic practices. These can help the community to improve our condition and happiness, beyond the “survival mode” today’s society forces us to be in.
WHEN: 12th of March, 12pm to 4pm.
LOCATION: Halk Evi Kurdish Community Centre, 31-33 Dalston Lane, E8 3DF
The space is now wheelchair accessible!
The Cafe will have this time different opening hours, because of the demo for the 1st Anniversary of the Vigil for Sarah Everard happening on the same afternoon, which we think it’s important to show up for.
– from 12pm til closing (4pm)
Food and drinks (pay what you can, down to £0).
– 1.30 – 3.30pm
Workshop and discussion about Transformative Justice and Abolitionism with London Antifascist Assembly.
Please do wear a mask (unless you are exempt).
We ask people coming to the event to please take a lateral flow test (LFT) on the day. LFTs are free and can be ordered online. If you need help accessing these please send us a message and we will be happy to help.
We ask everyone attending to be respectful of others.
We won’t tolerate racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic and any other discriminatory behaviour.
If you have any issues with the cafe or anyone who has joined the space please alert us and we will do our best to sort this out.
