Join us on 13th February to learn and share skills to build your own Free Internet Radio station. This technology can be a useful tool to empower and spread our voices. Autonomous Tech Fetish and Xtalk are organising a first (more to follow) workshop on how to mix, record and/or edit interviews or a whole radio show, create broadcasts, plus journalism and more. It also aims to highlight the importance of setting up community radio stations and creating our own media. The programme: - Discussion on how to create a radio show or podcast - Recording and editing audio - Streaming and uploading your program - Experience from grassroots radio broadcasting in London Please bring your own laptop if you have one. If you have any recording devices, please bring them too. Kids are welcome! We try to make our activities accessible to all ages and abilities as far as we can, and are happy to provide alternative things to do if appropriate. Common House is wheelchair accessible but unfortunately the toilet isn't yet.
