Are you without a home? do you live insecurely? do you pay way too much rent or do you even have to rent a hotel room to have a roof over your head and are you completely done with this? Then you are not alone. As many know, there is a gigantic housing crisis in the Netherlands. This while an awful lot of houses are simply empty, because the owners speculate with them, have forgotten that they exist or they just don't care. The government and the municipality still don't have a good solution for this, but we do have one: squatting. Squatting is the solution for your housing shortage and vacancy.

That is why we will be holding a Squatting Consultation Hour on 30 September from 6:00 pm at vrij parkeren Leiden at the Van der Werfstraat 39. Here you can find answers to all your questions about squatting and meet people to squat with.

At the start of the squatting consultation hour there is also a VoKu or a people's kitchen where you can enjoy a delicious vegan dinner on donation. So if you are interested in squatting, this is the time!

A short documentary about Vrij Parkeren Leiden will also be shown between the VoKu and the squatting info night. Hopefully this will give you enough inspiration to ask questions during the squatting info night, if you haven't already.
