SUN mit Brutal Pop - Growling meets sweet Singing, Metal meets Pop, die wunderbare SUN rockt wieder unsere Bühne. SUN - The Band (sunbrutalpop.com)

Here's a nice text about Sun, stolen from Schlachthof Wiesbaden:

“Among the quite a few acts with the name Sun, the French songwriter, singer, guitarist and actress of the same name holds an exceptional position. Proof? Well, Sun screamed and shredded in local death metal bands such as Psychobolia, mimed Edith Piaf in a musical on the international stage, appeared on The Voice France and came 2nd in the Eurovision Song Contest with an original composition. A while ago, she was given her first leading role in a feature film, “Tom Medina”, directed by Palme d'Or winner Tony Gatlif. A film in which she plays herself (sic!) and which in turn premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, while she gave a show on the beach before the screening - together with Nicolas Reyes (Gipsy Kings). You can't make it all up. Her latest EP “Brutal Pop II”, produced by triple Grammy-winning Andrew Scheps, was recently released - and she immediately invented her own genre, Brutal Pop. She has opened for Metallica and performed at Fusion, among others. Her favorite bands, by the way, are Abba and Gojira.”

VULVARINE with VULVAROCK

Driven by a strong desire to raise the amount of FLINTA* in the rock scene, Vulvarine situate themselves as an anchor with distinct feminist values. Being inspired by women*, and inspiring other women* to live up to their full artistic potential is one of the band’s foremost goals. Heavily influenced by the Riot Grrrl mindset, their message is clear: Grab your guitar and get out there, girl*!
