After more than 100 people joined us for the amazing celebration we hosted in June, we are delighted to invite you to the Social Choreography Summer Closing celebration at Makamik on August 27th between 14:00 - 20:00.

Join us to celebrate late summer together while supporting free grassroot spaces and making new friends!

The celebration is an open event organized as part of the project Social Choreography Lab Helsinki, an ongoing series of open workshops exploring embodiment in the context of late capitalism. We will bring non-alcoholic drinks and some things for the grill to share (vegan and non-vegan), you are invited to use the grill to prepare your own food as well. There will be live music, performances and mini-workshops throughout the day, culminating with an anti-piñata! After the celebration there will be concerts inside the Makamik house hosted by another collective, everyone is welcome to join the shows or continue hanging out in the yard.
