Makamik-Fest returns on the weekend of 20th-22nd August to the backyard of originally squatted and since legalized Squat Makamik. The festival includes some of the mainstays of the Finnish underground, from punk to indie and electronic folk. In addition to music the weekend includes many cross-sectional arts performances. Squat Makamik is an antiauthoritarian space for free arts and social center, and it’s events are shaped by anticapitalism, and safer space principles. This year you can donate a voluntary entry-fee with cash or mobile pay which will be directed in full to the artists performing on the weekend.

Makamik’s address is Jyrängöntie 1 (Google Maps also finds it with Makamik.)

Welcome!
