All around us there is distance and silence. A social silence in which
our relationships with each other, with the economy and the state can be
changed and shaped. But the machine in the background continues to run.
Profits are maximized, profits are privatized and it is already being
calculated how much a human life may be worth.

Into this silence, deafeningly loud, countless questions push
themselves, in uncountable corners and ends of Europe, on the edges and
external borders as well as in the big cities:
How can we pay the rent if we can't work?
How can we wash our hands without running water?
How are we supposed to keep our distance from each other when we are
jammed together in camps?
Since when do national borders stop viruses?
How are we supposed to stay at home if we don't have one?
Why do construction workers have to keep going to work when I can't even
go out for a walk?
Why are demonstrations banned, but the work in the factory continues?
How did it come to the point where our health systems are not prepared
for sick people?
Why do we have to save the system and not the system us?
Only together can we counter the dominant conditions.
