Founded on the principle that together we are greater than the sum of our parts, the People’s Art Fair (PAF) is an open group exhibition curated by the PRSC. Acting as a celebration of culture and expressive art, PAF is open to artists, makers, photographers, painters, sculptors and creatives of all shapes and flavours. We know art isn’t just paintings hanging on walls, so the People’s Art Fair often includes an art fair, live music jam sessions, poetry open mic, and all sorts of creative workshops and activities.
This edition of PAF is running during the School of Activism 3.0, so is activism themed. Can art change the world? Come along and find out.
Exhibiting Artists include: TwoBirds Art, TropicaLaLa, TG Freeson, Scot Burgoyne, Pablo, Pilar Lorenzo, Oshii, Octopus Odyssey, Object…, Natasha Watson, Mike Stuart, Marta Zubieta, Lisa Furness, Kaz, Katy Day, Kat Martin, Jamie Pett, Georgie, FYONAFINN, DrydenArtWorks, Criminal Mind, Crack Baby, Colin Moody, and Alex Caskey-Jones.
The School of Activism 3.0 is a month long programme of workshops, talks and activities brought to you by Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft. Running at PRSC during April 2022, the events are intended to be empowering experiences equipping people with the tools to challenge the status quo, contest power structures and ultimately to change the world.
We learn by doing.
We make our own future.
This project is founded on the ethos of community inclusion and empowerment, so we offer pay-what-you-can solidarity pricing with no-one turned away through lack of funds. Please donate to help us keep the School of Activism affordable to all!
