�The year is 2345, and human life as we know it has become unrecognisable. Hosted in a bomb shelter in Vondelpark originally designed as a civil defence measure in the 1940s, ‘As We Know It’ asks artists to interpret the relics of our shattered present. Was riding in an automobile vehicular object a spiritual practice? What is the relationship between a bagel, a donut, a roll of tape and a CD-ROM, and why do they all have holes in the centre? What is this polyethylene terephthalate material, and why was it designed to last forever? �
