–Bagdaddy vs the Blackouts–
Bagdaddy vs the Blackouts, a project carried by an Arabian mindfuck. It’s something like a avant-garde electronic rockformation birthed by a catgirl. Hard to follow? Spot on.
Her bandformation consist of co-DIY-multitaskers; the mastermind behind Naujawanan Baidar, the brain behind ZALM and A million squeeks will do you no harm and the drummer of the iconic obscure Zombies Under Stress. Musical production of the songs is handled by Yannick Verhoeven, known for Cairo Liberation Front, whom Bagdaddy frequently collaborates with.
Make sure you avoid the puke when walking in the Lange Niezel. Stand in line to see our show. Take a picture with the lead singer. Or buy a beer for one of the other members. Sweden is a country in the north of Europe. you can definitely hear that in their music.
FFO: Wire, The Fall, Birthday Party
NEW ACT FROM THE BELGIUM WEIRDO SCENE, NOISE HIP HOP
PLAYS / PLAYED WITH:
DÄLEK, PRISON RELIGION
YOU GET THE IDEA
Pig Frenzy are four lovers that got together in early 2018. Initially starting of with the ambition to write post-punk music, they wrote their first EP which turned out to be a mix of mainly (post)punk, garage and indie. Since the release of the EP they played many shows in The Netherlands and Belgium and got signed to the Rotterdam-based label SPAZZ records. Later during that year Pig Frenzy went on a tour to France, Spain and Portugal. Now they’ve released their second EP titled ‘HOGTIED’, in which they really discovered their sound. Expect the shows to be wild, unpredictable and above all mind-blowing.
Trippy, tropical, saturated sounds from an underground bedroom.
