Reverse Proxy Cafe, spin off done at the hacker space "Lag", having a GNU/Linux workshop.

We will discuss the importance of having a free operative system, how it empowers you, the political relation to it, what nice software is available for it, text editores/IDE, live versions, distro etc..

We will help people migrating to existing operative systems, either with dual boot, live usb sticks or just replacing everything.

We will also discuss about Lag, its relation to Proxy cafe and the slug.

The GPL will protect us!

Mostly happening on wednesdays from 18:00 till 22:00 at LAG, Joe's Garage and other locations such as the Bowling, and why not in your social space, somewhere else than Amsterdam.

LAG is a hacklab project coming out of the SLUG (Squatting Linux User Group) mesh.
Our main focus is the relationship between politics and technology, both at a practical and theoretical level.
