Electronic music workshop with free software like Ardour6, LMMS, qjackctl, tuxguitar, hydrogen, VCV rack etc...

The workshop will focus on showing what software is available for GNU/Linux and can be done rather then a music theory workshop. We will show how to turn your computer into a fully working music studio, from a recording DAW like Ardour6, electronic music production DAW like LMMS, drum machine sampler like Hydrogen, write/read guitar tab with Tuxguitar and how to setup jack audio server.

Could also be an occasion for varios music artist to meet to each other and start collaborations, while having a political approach to it.

Since June 2005, Joe's Garage is an autonomous squatted political social center, a meeting place in the Transvaal neighborhood for squatters and non-squatters, subsidy free, not for profit, self-organized and entirely run by volunteers.
