Paperjam has overcome its maintenance issues and is alive again! Come celebrate!!

What happened? In july somewhere we started experiencing terrible issues with all of our gear. Our trusted printed Gary died and was too expensive to fix. We went on a roadtrip to the Hague to get a new printer from the Samenscholing: it did not work either. our robot pc friend Danbo started failing. Time for a new start!

This is why we gave up and bought three new printers. EXCITING. This months Posterswap will also be a bar night to celebrate, come and toast on the future of the new printers (two of them still need names). Also there will be food? yes yes yes party time!

Wij zien zoveel mooie posters langskomen als we printen, maar we zien die vaak niet terug op de plekken waar we komen. Het lijkt alsof de postercultuur in Amsterdam niet meer heel actief is, ook al is het een effectieve manier om informatie te verspreiden.

Daarom organiseren we een maandelijkse posterruil met een potluck diner. We zouden het leuk vinden als iedereen al hun posters, flyers, stickers etc. meeneemt om die te verspreiden onder mede-activisten. Samen kunnen we genieten van lekker eten en van de posters en flyers die anderen gemaakt hebben. Zo kunnen we met elkaar kletsen over de dingen die we doen én bezig zijn met het verspreiden van onze propaganda. Als we samenwerken zal geen enkele muur meer wit blijven en geen enkel collectief of evenement onbekend zijn.

Natuurlijk kunnen we die avond ook poster printen op donatie!

We see such beautiful posters when we print, but we hardly see them at places we visit. It seems as if posterculture in Amsterdam is not as active as it could be even though it is such an effective way to spread information.

That's why we organise a monthy poster swap, with potluck dinner. We would like it very much if everyone could bring their posters, flyers, stickers, etc. to spread among fellow activists. Together we'll enjoy nice food and the posters and flyers other people made. That way we can have a chat with each other about the things we are involved in and we are actively spreading our propaganda. If we work together no wall will be left white, no event unknown to the masses.

Of course we can also print posters on donation that evening!
