Yin Yoga class
Join us for a calming Yin Yoga class!
This week we will focus on the Chinese element of FIRE - we will work with the heart and small intestine meridians. The fire element is connected to the season of summer. Working with this element will balance our blood circulation, presence and awareness.
Yin Yoga is a meditative form of yoga, in which we stay in a pose on the floor for several minutes. It helps us to calm down the nervous system and also to become (more) flexible. By staying longer in the poses, the deeper tissues of the body are stretched and the mind is challenged to relax.
