We are calling on the community to attend a documentary screening to get inspiration moving forward with regards to the fight against the existential threat of runaway climate change posed by the fossil fuel industry. After the screening we will focus on the issue of earthquake inducing gas extraction in Groningen and the actions organised by Coalitie Gasverzet Groningen that are planned for Saturday 24th of September.

PickAxe (1999, 94 min) screening:

An eclectic mix of activists take a stand to protect an old growth forest from logging at Warner Creek in the Willamette National Forest of Oregon (USA), blockading the logging road and repelling the State Police.
