On this day we invite you to join our 3rd Clothes Swap, which coincidentally lands on the 3rd anniversary of the Rana plaza garment factory collapse in Bangladesh.

This time we not only want to swap clothes but also to look back on this day and try to discover the underlying problems that have facilitated such a tragedy. We will try to understand how the garment industry takes advantage of women/children and determine where our own responsibility lies in this exploitation. We will also talk about the actions we can take together in order to raise public awareness about this issue.

Bring your clothes in good condition to Pieter Nieuwland along with your mind for some critical thinking, discussion and action. There will also be two sewing machines/ material for you to repair, alter or create your own garments, as well as screen printing material to leave your own mark.
