Presenting The Unplugged Sessions. Bands are leaving the amps behind for one night to come and play acoustic.

MONICA AND THE EXPLOSION
solo acoustic punk artist from Sweden - Since the release of her debut album in 2007 she has been touring all around the world, solo or with a band. The sound is best described as ”jukebox punk” - acoustic rock n'roll with attitude.

Vive Le Rock Magazine (UK), nov/dec 2013:
Album review: KEEP IT ALIVE! Swedish singer-songwriter's third album is an acoustic delight.
8/10 "...the high energy gutsy songstress sings her heart out for 13 memorable short, sharp songs. There is a rush of adrenaline that explodes from her frantic strumming and a vocal drawl full of feeling and power which plays off against some of her tounge-twisting lyrics, radiating attitude and defiance."

DJ CaptainSpank - Ska, Punk, Psycho-Billy, ElectroSwing

All proceeds from this event will go to The Bulgarian Prisoners` Rehabilitation Association (B.P.R.A.). The group involves only prisoners and ex-prisoners and is the first of it’s kind in Bulgarian history and thus marks a massive leap forward in Eastern Europe prisoners' rights. The Association is the manifestation of the collective wills of prisoners in Bulgaria and shows their intensive and organised struggle to combat the corruption of the penitentiary institutions. Its main goal is to reduce the massive difference between prisoners´ rights in other E.U. member states and these in Bulgaria.

At the moment the money they receive is used to defend prisoners’ rights especially in regards to appealing illegal orders given by the prison administrations. Apart from this they also desperately need money for much more such as basic office equipment, a computer, printer, stationery etc... They have no money at the moment and even the smallest amount would really help! Please spread the word about the organisation.
