Practical Linux (ipv6) routing workshop

Short url:

https://squ.at/r/a9vr

Follow up from last year, but minimal linux knowledge required. Some command-line experience and rough ideas about IP routing help.

Bring your own linux laptop (BSD is ok, but you might be needing to figure out a few things yourself).

Format:

We'll be turning our laptops into routers and doing some IP packet pinball, just playing around with commands and sending packets to each other and see what happens.

We'll be introducing using the following commands:

* sysctl

* ip

* tcpdump

* ping

* nc (netcat)

The aim for this workshop is to do everything in IPv6, so as little focus on IPv4 as possible.

Optionally:

We might look a bit at OpenWRT and some adjacenbt network tools if there's interest.
