We Are Here (Wij Zijn Hier) is a refugee-led organization in Amsterdam born after the eviction of the Osdorp refugee camp in 2012. They strive to advocate for decent accommodation for undocumented people in Amsterdam. Through squatting empty buildings they have resisted the institutional blind-eye on the refugee community that is denied accommodation by Amsterdam’s municipality. 
Still, the anti-kraak policies that have put the movement under attack several times and has made squatting ever more difficult for the organization. They are now in an empty parking lot in Amsterdam area where they have had to build makeshift dormitories to make this space barely livable for about 100 young men. They are due to be evicted mid-March. The collected money will be given to the We Are Here collective with which they can buy things needed for their accommodation.
