Traditional venezuelan food supporting venezuelan permaculture project

Short url:

Venezuelan food voku for suporting this project:

We believe that the knowledge of sustainable techniques is the best way to be truly frees, those ancestral techniques that allow us to be self-sufficient and to face problems very easy to solve on small and large scale such as hunger, housing, energy, and so we are able to meet our primary needs by basing on sustainability.
If we are prepared to lead a life more aware of the environment, we are contributing to improve the quality of life in Venezuela and on the planet.
Short Summary
We are William, Mary, our 4 year old daughter Maia, our 4 lovely dogs and 2 cats, we are a Venezuelan family that for many years we find ourselves in the search for a more sustainable life, since the year 2010 we live in a beautiful mountain in the Venezuelan Andes where we recover and rehabilitate a natural area that was being used like garbage dump. Today we have our house which we build ourselves using the resources we find around, much recycling and permaculture techniques. We have also developed a family garden and edible forest that have helped us to be more independent and autonomous in our food, especially because of the situation that is happening Venezuela.

Today we are dedicated to teaching and promoting different ancestral, techniques of sustainability and permaculture in our community, through workshops, courses and guided tours to our home where we have founded the “Demonstrative Center for Sustainable Life”.
