Worst Case Scenario

Short url:

Franz Müller | 2014 | Poland | 82' | German, EN subs

Olga is a costume designer. Six weeks ago, she split up with Georg: film director, artist, dick head. Now they are both somewhere on a campsite in Poland, trying to shoot a comedy. The script is awful, the producer has resigned, the sound man has run away, and now the lead actor wants to go. Olga separated from Georg because he didn't want to start a family. But then, in the midst of the chaos on the set, the bomb bursts: Olga is pregnant. What begins as a German-Polish film-in-film comedy develops into a relationship study that has it all: director Franz Müller sends his colorful ensemble through the turbulence of togetherness and incidentally shows the unplannability of love.
