An invisible virus advances in the urban jungle of NYC in the 90s. Predatory boys are roaming around the city satisfying their primary needs of consumption and pleasure while their girl counterparts look for tenderness and care. The story takes place in 24 hours and it revolves around the unconscious spread of a virus nobody knows exactly what it is, where it comes from or how it transmits. Kids is renowned for its stark realism resembling an actual documentary at moments and relying on a cast of underage actors picked from the streets.
