Two Films by Sandra Lahire

Short url:

A duo of films by the British experimental filmmaker Sandra Lahire that explore the hydra-headed harms done by the nuclear industry in the 1980s, focusing on women's labour at uranium mines. The selected films present Lahire's particular alchemy of sound and image as fightback to and as a warning of the invisible spectrum of damage engendered by the industry. With an introduction by guest programmer Elizabeth Dexter.
