Once upon a time there was a singing blackbird

An orchestra percussionist hurries all day long to and fro in Tbilisi, encountering friends, visiting old lovers or trying to make new ones. The musician is pleasant and friendly with everyone but he always must go on: he rushes and arrives every day on time to the concert to play his part with the kettledrums. With an unpretentious narrative and a smooth cinematography of continual movement, this film appears as a delightful and dynamic journey. A little Georgian Joyce’s Ulysses and one of the main works of Otar Ioseliani.
