The debate about the issues of class conflict rages in a unique way in this amusing as well as instructive experiment of Situationist détournement. Instead of meaningless dialogue, the gritty film images of the second-rate kung fu movie Crush from 1972 are supplied with radical critique on the cultural hegemony of the ruling class. In a hilarious way the commentary describes the conflict between the proletariat and the bureaucrats in a system of state capitalism. Meanwhile we see how the Japanese rulers are taken care of in wild kung fu fights, full of typical anti-colonial sentiment.
