Filmhuis Cavia has the honour to show the legendary science-fiction classic TRON on 16mm film, in all its colourful analog splendour! The groundbreaking film, with a unique mix of early computer-animated and hand-drawn animated special effects, shows a thoroughly eighties vision of the future with neon-coloured visuals that still provoke the imagination. The film follows former computer programmer and video arcade employee Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) and his battle in the virtual Game Grid against the nefarious artificial intelligence Master Control Program (MCP) of the computer company ENCOM.
