Welcome to the Heavenly Earth (+ Q&A with filmmaker)

Short url:

Judith de Leeuw | 2016 | NL | 55' | English subtitles

In an apocalyptic landscape at the edge of the North Sea, David, Peter and their friends live a wonderful life. A life in which they make music according to their own rules and document it by filming and photographing. With their meager material resources they create their own world and make the best of it.

Welcome to the Heavenly Earth is an observing and disturbing film, a trip along the fringes of Dutch society, in which existence is sometimes hell, but just as often wonderful and beautiful.

Filmmaker Judith de Leeuw will be present for a Q&A afterwards!
