His films reveal a fascination for society's rough edges and the beauty of existence. He also takes a lot of photos, mostly in his own home, where time moves at its slowest.

Gevangen in Schoonheid

Documentary about the painter couple Ernst and Karin van Leyden. They were contemporaries and acquaintances of painters such as Karel Appel, Salvador Dali, Max Ernst and Pablo Picasso, but have become a footnote in art history. The documentary is the story of two personalities trapped together in mutual dependence and separation anxiety.
