As night falls, they discover an ancient occult text, and accidentally unleash a demonic presence. Sam Raimi's scary and prankish low budget debut is the definitive "cabin the woods" horror film. Deploying wide angle lenses and a roving camera that stalks the characters through the dark woods and cramped cabin, Raimi builds a feeling of inescapable dread.
