Experimental film a celebration of multicultural diversity with as much humor as seriousness, described by the director as Eco Cyber Noia. The ecological apocalypse, hacker culture and queer vibes blend in this surrealist noir inspired by the aesthetics of music videos. When “Fresh Kill” isn’t bombarding us with ominous or manipulative news bulletins via the media, it’s punctuated with tart, amusing vignettes capturing succinctly both the vitality and absurdity of modern life showing the daily existence of Claire and Shareen - a couple raising their daughter Honey near the Fresh Kills Landfill in Staten Island. Shareen works picking on the landfill, Claire in the the ultra-trendy, none-too-subtly-named Naga Saky Restaurant.
