In March 2018 we organized the so called Pan-European meeting for practical solidarity in Cologne. The gathering took place over the course of a weekend and provided space for more than 100 militants from Basque-Country, Andalusia, Catalonia, Italy, Czech-Republic, Greece, Belarus, the Kurdish region in northern Turkey and Germany. The reason to call for such a meeting is simple: we do not know too much about the circumstances of the social-political struggles the people are fighting in on a daily basis all over Europe. Thus, the focus has been put broadly on the interconnection between social struggles, repression and prison in the various realities of the different European territories. On the action-day, the day of the prisoners, a demonstration took place in front of the women’s prison in Willich, close to the Dutch border.
