In 2004 we met a number of youth groups from the village with the aim of creating a new and decisive youth assembly. We launched a campaign with many actions in favor of a Gaztetxe, in which we decided to occupy a Beasain Town Hall. This is how we started this beautiful experience: showing that we were ready to change the direction of the future and with commitment and teamwork, fighting.
We occupied the gaztetxe in 2004, and all these years we have tried to build a free space, a free meeting place for young and not so young people. It is an ideal tool for leisure (climbing wall, vegetarian dining, concerts, workshops, plays, games, films, lectures…) and fighting (AHT, prisons, fines and solidarity).), And we have learned to live and organize in a group in this lonely and capitalist world.
