Palestine Cinema Days
Short url:
Palestine Cinema Days, a festival spread across various cinemas in the West Bank and Gaza, was due to start their tenth edition this week. Instead, the organizers are now releasing the film material free of copyright so that the movies can be screened around the world on the same day. November 2 was chosen because it is the date of the Balfour Declaration, a crucial colonial milestone that cannot be ignored when trying to understand both Israel and Palestine.
opening times:
nov 2 doors open at 7pm at the Budapest.
Many small venues around Europe are responding to this call and switching their program around to make this festival possible at the darkest of times. We acknowledge that this action is just a small contribution, and we wish to honor those who have been tirelessly working to make a difference.
