A Tattoo Circus is a anti repression event. All the benefits are going to people and collectives who fight against the system or suffer from it, or to structures supporting prisoners and the anti-prison struggle.

The KaFC Tattoo Circus crew wants to take the Tattoo Circus concept a bit further and include all kinds of imprisonment. Carceral imprisonment is not the only one we denounce and that revolts us. It is more generally the dominant logic of excluding, locking up and trying to format and normalise everything and everyone that does not fit into the norm and disturbs. Because we denounce and want to destroy a system based on domination relationships, we chose to address topics that include more than anti-prison and anti-repression. We stand also against specism, machism, fachism, borders, etc. We see the limits of our freedom not only in the failures of “justice” and generalised surveillance, but also in some aspects of our daily life: school and education; heteronormativity; gender; institutional abuse; psychological and emotional norms; the exploitation and murder of animals…

Because normalised lives are prisons and that this world is full of cages, boxes, and categories in which we are captive, we aim for the abolition of all the ways the capitalist-patriarcal society imprisons us all – humans and non-humans.

Therefore, our workshops, discussions, projections and info kiosk will focus on those themes, and all funds will be donated to people, collectives and projects that struggle against this broader logic of imprisonment and build the alternatives.
