After a year's hiatus, we'll get to see each other in the parade again this summer! 

Pride parades began as a protest against the criminalization and oppression of queer people. Even in Ostrava, we want to express our disapproval with the way the LGBT+ community is treated in the Czech Republic as well as around the world and bring attention to the problems of queer people in our region, which are not being sufficiently discussed, let alone being practically solved. Join the march not only to celebrate queer visibility, but for marriage equality, to put an end to forced sterilizations of trans people, against pinkwashing and using our identities to improve corporate PR and for social justice! 

See you on the last Saturday in July, with no commercial items, no sponsors and no hiding the true essence of pride behind a commercial rainbow party.

In addition to the parade, we are planning a rich cultural and educational program, stay tuned!
