Join us for the second Wereldhuis VOKU (Solidarity meal) of the season on Friday 24th of September. We invite you to taste the fruits of a collaboration where people in refugee situations combine cooking and cultivation to nourish communities and sow economic solidarities near and far.
From 19.00 - 21.00 PM we serve the meals at De Volkskamer where you can dine or pick-up for takeaway. We are open from 18.00 hrs.

This VOKU centres on the Wereldhuis project, Boerderij de Meent (a commons farm), where participants have designed and implemented a community herb garden. This VOKU the women’s team is cooking injera and delicious Eritrean food. We use fresh organic herbs from de Meent and invite you to listen to a presentation of our first growing season. You're very welcome to visit and volunteer on the project.
