STATICS takes music out of the context of a moving art form and presents it as static art in a gallery setting. It’s there whether you walk in or out, and it works in equal parts together with the room. It’s basically a four-hour long painting with sounds, a combination of performance and installation with visuals where several musicians will join in, at the beautiful resonating location De Vondelbunker.

STATICS plaatst muziek buiten context en presenteert het als statische kunstvorm in galeriesetting; een vier uur-durend schilderij van geluid waar men in en uit kan lopen en dat in elke hoek van de ruimte anders klinkt. Een combinatie van performance en installatie met visuals en bijdragen van diverse muzikanten, in de waanzinnig klinkende Vondelbunker.
