★THE OCCII NEEDS HELP, SO WE’RE THROWING A PARTY AT THE VONDELBUNKER★
The current sound system of the OCCII is over 20 years old. This was, once upon a time, taken over secondhand. OCCII did have a lot of luck with getting such an amazing secondhand sound system and considering that, the quality is still super high. However, we’ve come to the conclusion that it’ll need to be replaced before it’s too late. Repair companies don’t want to do maintenance on such old systems, since the speakers aren’t being produced anymore. This also means there are no replacement parts available for when they break. Sadly, replacing the sound system with something of same quality will cost a lot of money. OCCII has spent all its budget of the last years on renovation of the building and façade, so our reserves for speakers have dried out.
That’s why we want to do a benefit punk party!
