first show: 19:30 - Chris Dreier

Chris Dreier works with field recordings, electronics, samples and effects. She is interested in the associative qualities of experimental sounds and frequencies. Field, tape, found and EMF recordings are fed into a Doepfer modular system where the sounds are warped and mangled, re-recorded and re-fed. Born in Wuppertal, Germany, in 1961 Chris Dreier lives in Berlin. From 1981 to 1982 she was a member of the experimental German post-punk band “Die Tödliche Doris”. 1984 - 1987 she studied Visual Communications, UdK, Berlin. Since 2005 she has participated in a number of sonic collaborations such as Spadelove (with Frank Lohmeyer), the noise Band Burqamachines with artist colleague Ursula Döbereiner, Dexia Defunct (with Gary Farrelly), MK / CT (with Tim Löhde) and EX Die Tödliche Doris (with Wolfgang Müller).

20:15: Christoph Heemann

Heemann was a founding member of the anarchic noise-collage project Hirsche Nicht Aufs Sofa, who released a string of bizarre, dada-inspired records during the mid 1980s. Heemann regards their 1987 release "Im Schatten Der Möhre" as the pinnacle of their recorded career. The early 90s saw Heemann's first solo releases; within a decade he had built up a catalog of records on labels such as Extreme (for "Invisible Barrier"), Robot Records (for the "Magnetic Tape Splicing" 12 ") and Barooni (for the superb" Aftersolstice "). Heemann has also been active in a number of various projects during the last decade, such as the group Mimir (with Jim O 'Rourke and Edward Ka-Spel of the Legendary Pink Dots), and, most notably, under the name Mirror (with Andrew Chalk and Andreas Martin), while also finding time to collaborate on records by Organum, Current 93, and John Duncan. He also founded the Streamline label (see the label's own entry for more information) which has been busy releasing a diverse catalog of records from artists such as Nurse With Wound, John Duncan, Ora and Andrew Chalk.
