Am 10. Juli wollten wir euch zur 19. Ausgabe der Bewegungsfreiheit im ://about blank begrüßen.
Die Umstände lassen es jedoch leider derzeit nicht zu, unser Soli-Party-Format als unterstützendes Instrument für Öffentlichkeit und Austausch zu nutzen.
Also mussten neue Wege gefunden werden, Menschen mit Fluchtgeschichte und deren Supportstrukturen zu unterstützen.
Wir verlagern das Veranstaltungskonzept aus musikalischer Finesse und kulturellem Input somit nun in die digitale Welt.

Der Struggle von Geflüchteten und ihren Unterstützer*innen mit Behörden, Kampf um Papiere, für Wohnraum und gegen Repressionen ist zermürbender Alltag. Die aktuelle Pandemie-Situation drängt viele noch mehr an den Rand der Gesellschaft und bedroht ihr Leben direkt oder indirekt.
Gemeinsam wollen wir mit diesem Stream einige wichtige lokale, langjährige Aktivist*innen und Betroffene Menschen zu Wort kommen lassen und auf unsere fortlaufende Spendenkampagne aufmerksam machen.

Umrahmt wird der Abend von 2 Künstlerinnen, deren musikalischer Orbit uns schon von jeher beeindruckt hat. Daher freuen wir uns, dass Lux (Berlin/Leipzig) und Mareena (Tresor/Unrush) das Programm mit ihrem Sound begleiten.

On July 10th we wanted to welcome you to the 19th edition of Bewegungsfreiheit at ://about blank. Unfortunately, circumstances do not allow us to use our fundaraiser as a solidary tool for publicity and communication at the moment.
So we had to find new ways to support people with an escape story. We are now shifting the event concept of musical finesse and cultural input into the digital world.

The struggle of refugees and their supporters with authorities, the fight for documents, for living space and against repression is a gruelling reality of everyday life. The current pandemic situation pushes many even more to the margins of society and threatens their lives, both directly and indirectly.

With this stream we want to give a voice to some important local, longtime activists and people affected by the pandemic and draw attention to our ongoing fundraising campaign.

The evening is framed by 2 artists, whose musical orbit has always impressed us. Therefore we are happy that Lux (Berlin/Leipzig) and Mareena (Tresor/Unrush) will accompany the program with their sound.
