Soli Cocktails for Abortion Rights in NordIrland & Malta Berlin-Malta Women's Rights Solidarity and Berlin-Ireland Pro Choice Solidarity are collaborating once more to bring you a fun-filled cocktail night in aid of abortion rights in Malta and Northern Ireland – which happily coincides with the festival of Ireland’s first known abortionist, St. Brigid! Apart from delicious themed cocktails we hope to show some short films about the struggle for abortion rights in Ireland & Malta in the back room from 8-10pm. -=- All profits from the cocktails sold will go to Alliance for Choice (N Ireland) & Malta's Women's Rights Foundation. We will also have soli merch from both groups available to buy, again all profits to the above named groups.

Alliance for Choice "campaign for free, safe and legal abortion access in Northern Ireland, an end to the criminalisation of women and an end to the harassment of women using the Marie Stopes Family Planning Association in Belfast. Much of [their] work has been about giving voice to the tens of thousands of women* from Northern Ireland who had abortions in England and elsewhere, or at home, alone, with the threat of prosecution and without medical support.

Malta's Women’s Rights Foundation (WRF) "is a voluntary organisation committed to informing, educating and empowering women concerning their legal rights. They aim to ensure that women’s rights are protected through policy and law reform, raising awareness and offer training to end violence against women. Their work spans from domestic violence to reproductive rights."
