Sometimes in April is Raoul Peck's movie about the Rwandan genocide of 1994 which follows the story of Augustin Muganza, a Hutu military officer married to a Tutsi woman. The story alternates between years 1994 when the genocide happened and 2004 when Augustin is attending a subsequent trial.

Raoul Peck is a Haitian film maker and politician known for historical—political movies. He also directed the movies Lumumba (2000) and The Young Karl Marx (2017) which we screened earlier this July and August, respectively.
