Yılmaz Güney‘s ‚Yol‘ in Cannes without ‚Kurdistan‘ vignette
The classic film Yol (“The Road”) was screened again in Cannes this
year, but to everyone’s surprise, the Kurdistan vignette used by Yılmaz
Güney in the original is missing from the new version.
