Autumnomous Jazz in Takland #15 - Seppo Kitachev Quartet

Takland is fully running again, with some absolutely amazing musicians coming up this month, this week we have an absolutely amazing opener with Seppo Kitachev. After the opening we invite everyone to come and jam, an upright bass piano and drumkit are already present. So in case you're not STILL hungover from new years you can come bring your instruments and cash to Takland, the place where fun reigns and chaos is always present! 

 About the band: 

Seppo Kitachev Quartet wants to bring rhythm and good feeling to the people. This quartet consists of four amazing players and friends from the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam. The Band plays original compositions written by the guitar player Seppo Kitachev who has been inspired to write more straight ahead material giving homage to great composers like Horace Silver. Piano player Pedro Mendes is a sought after sideman having great accompanying capabilities and large dynamic range. Pedro also composes for his own trio showcasing different sonorities. Drum n bass duo Veerle van der Wal and Rafael Motila share a deep love for music and each other. They have a strong connection and trust for each other doing everything to support and drive the band.
