في يوم من الأيام ، بينما يصطاد العصافير، يقع يوسف بحب فتاة من عمره، غجرية ساحرة ذات شخصية قوية... ولكي يتزوجها، تشترط عليه أن يبحث عن الجواهر الثلاث المفقودة من عقد جدة أبيها الذي حمله لها جد أبيها من جنوب أمريكا، هكذا يصبح يوسف بطلا لحكاية عصرية.
