Dutch for Barbarians
Free Dutch language classes @ Fort van Sjakoo In the Dutch media and politics, a moral panic has been raging for years now, wherein the proper, decent Dutch society is threatened on all sides by barbarian hordes invading its shores. We say "Let"s give the Dutch the enemy they deserve. Bring on the Tsunami of foreigners!" And to help the invasion along we offer free Dutch courses. Classes are held every second Wednesday evening from 20:30 to 22:30. So there"s a class on on the 9th of March, not the 16th, on the 23rd, not the 30th et cetera. We work on a beginners level, but try to speak - a slow-paced and very basic - Dutch during classes. A minimum level of understanding is advisable to start the classes. Topics will have to be quite textbook part of the time, but we try to discuss street-level politics, poetry or punk songs for a while in each class. Tot ziens in de les! | |||
